Coaching and Mentoring - Lessons Learned For a College Professor



It seems more and more people are changing their careers and becoming consultant coaches. Of course, not all of the so called coachers are coaches at all. In fact, many coach and consult in fields that they know little about and have never actually worked in.Are You a Coacher Or a Poacher?


M = Motivation & MomentumSquash negative thoughts; replace them with positive ones. Along those lines, it's important to start monitoring your thoughts. Recognize negative self-talk, which is really what's causing your slump.


In order to tailor the coaching specifically to you it's worth knowing how as an individual you operate in teams. It's worth knowing your strengths and the areas you need to pay attention to in terms of your development needs. Why is this critical? If you don't have a sense of your team strengths or your weaknesses within a team environment how is it possible to ensure as you go forward that you are able to build great business relationships? It is important to build relationships that are sustainable and serve you well in business.Role Over to Coaching
